A Lifetime of Service
School on Wheels founder Sister Marybeth McDermott, served as director from 1993 to 2008. In 2009, School on Wheels recognized her for her lifetime service to literacy and established the annual Sr. Marybeth McDermott Citizenship Scholarship in her honor.
